"La Cucina with its road side seating makes for a quaint dining experience. We discovered hand cut Bazzone prosciutto from Garafagnana. 24 month matured ham with historical roots in the Lucca area. What a treat with an accompanied history lesson from the waiter. The spiedino of mixed meats should have been better spiced and was disappointingly tasteless as were the polpette in pomodoro. My advice is to reserve a table to save yourself being scolded for attempting to request outside seating."

"We’ve dined here twice, and both times the food, service and atmosphere were all very good. It’s a cosy, hospitable room and service was attentive and helpful, especially with things like the wine list although with hindsight I would love to have been asked how I wanted my beef cooked. Both beef dishes I had were fantastic - both in flavour and cooking. Truffles were generous and wines were excellent at the price point. Highly recommended."

"Great spot in Forte dei Marmi for a relaxed family lunch. It was the first time trying Cacio e pepe for most of us, and it didn’t disappoint — simple, authentic, and full of flavour. They also have an excellent wine selection to complement the meal. Definitely worth a visit!"
